Overview:

Pocket Pharmacy is a mobile application designed to assist users, especially those with pre-existing health conditions, in finding the right medication by providing comprehensive information on drug contraindications and side effects. This tool empowers users to make informed decisions by offering insights into which drugs are safe to consume based on their health conditions and current medications, helping to avoid dangerous drug-drug interactions.

My Role:

This is a group project consists of me and one classmate. In this project, I was responsible for creating the system model, designing the architecture, and developing the user interface. The project followed the Agile methodology, which allowed us to iterate and refine the system based on feedback and testing.

Key Features:

• Drug Search and Comparison: Users can search for medications and compare their contraindications and side effects before deciding on the right treatment.
• Personalized Alerts: Based on the user’s health condition and other medications, the app provides personalized warnings to help them avoid harmful interactions.
• User-Friendly Interface: Designed with ease of use in mind, Pocket Pharmacy offers an intuitive interface that displays drug information clearly and accessibly.
